Participants at the TBEX Europe 2014 conference will be spoiled for choice from October 23-25
Hundreds of bloggers, travel writers and other tourism professionals from around 50 countries are on their way to Athens for the Travel Blog Exchange European Conference (TBEX Europe 2014) that takes place at the Megaron Mousikis (Athens Concert Hall) from October 23-25.
The event includes meetings, discussions, educational seminars and presentations. In this framework, the Municipality of Athens, the Athens Development and Destination Management Agency (ADDMA) and the Athens Convention and Visotors Bureau (ACVB) have all planned a number of experiences aimed for the conference participants. In fact, dozens of tours and hospitality programs have been prepared to put the bloggers and travel writers to showcase Athens.
The event kicks off with a huge welcoming party at Technopolis for guests to experience Greek cuisine, wine, art, music, culture and tourism and history. TBEX participants will have free entrance tickets to all Greek archaeological events and museums, courtesy of the Greek Culture Ministry, public transport tickets courtesy of the Athens Urban Transport Organization and an Athens Spotlighted City Card courtesy of the Athens International Airport.
The goal is to maximize the participant’s exposure to the beauty, hidden and evident, that lurks in Athens. As host city for the international event, Athens will have a unique opportunity to highlight its charms as a tourist destination. The bloggers here to learn more about their craft are bound to give immediate their online impressions before, during and after the TBEX conference.
Following the conference, TBEX attendees will be able to join other excursions held in different parts of Athens, such as Pilio/Volos, the Peloponese, Epirus, Metoeora, Thessaloniki, as well as a cruise to the Cyclades.
